I participated in a group of undergraduate researchers in Northeastern University’s Philosophy & Religion Department. We conducted a project to determine who in the Department has the cutest dog.
One method of settling disputes in judgement is to vote. We decided to run an online vote to settle whose dog is cutest.
I worked with one other student to create the backend (Python, deployed on Google Cloud Functions) and do the data analysis for the project. We handled around 60,000 votes in a period of two weeks.
For more info about the project, feel free to check out the site.
